Florania
(Italy)

Florania is a ready- to-wear brand based on the elevation of fashion industry waste and was born from “radical” experimentation with upcycling, innovation, technology, and ethical fashion. Florania was founded by Flora Rabitti in 2021 with the aim of supporting Italian sartorial and textile traditions, designing clothes with minimal climate impact and positive influence.

The brand’s values range from regenerative design, the enhancement of existing materials, and the exploration of innovative fibers, creating innovation and transformation in the Made in Italy.

Florania focus on innovative fibers and experimental techniques, between the materials research: marble powder GRS pvc, GOTS popeline with coffee grounds, textured recycled polyesters GRS, bamboo, algae, GOTS cotton with mint, FOREARTH prints by Kyocera Corporation Japan, Tesma Recycled Cachemire, Pan gaia tshirt and hoodies, Vibram zero waste soles. Florania commits for producing the 30% of the collections with an Ethical production partner, Atelier Drittofilo Mantova, a Lubiam division, with the aim to employ women in difficult social situations, as domestic violence or immigration.
