Rheetz Hanbok

Haemyung Rhee is a Korean Hanbok fashion designer who incorporates Tanzanian fabrics into all of her designs. Hanbok is the traditional attire of the Korean people, with a history as colorful as the garments themselves.

She began designing Korean-inspired clothes using Tanzanian fabrics such as kanga and batik. For the last 30 years, she has used her fashion platform to support Tanzanian women in need of financial independence through various initiatives. When she started her journey in fashion, she was unsure if she would succeed, but over the years, she has proven herself to be both talented and skilled in fashion design.

Her creations focus on merging Korea’s beauty with Tanzania’s vibrant fabrics. Her love for both Korea and Tanzania is united through ‘Rheetz,’ where she creates stylish and comfortable clothing.
