Donovan Masiye is a Zambian Fashion designer, the founder and creative CEO for Dimass Fashion Designs brand based in Zambia. The brand was officially launched in 2019. Growing up in a home where the mother was a seamstress, Donovan grew up with the basic knowledge of tailoring and was able make alterations and designing of simple outfits. The passion was ignited when he attended teacher training in which fashion was also a component. This prompted him to seriously engage into fashion designing through self-training and other short courses. The brand is driven by the love to show the African heritage, hence makes trendy modern designs with a touch of African culture through the use of materials and colors that depict Africa.
